If there is a style in my designs and craft, it is I think sensual, soft-edged, rounded and curved. Take a close look at the pictures and make up your own mind. Of course the best way to see the work is in person.

While a lot of modern furniture and cabinetry includes composite materials and metal jointing, I enjoy accomplishing the very opposite. I prefer to design and make with real wood and well constructed joints. Indeed, I take pleasure from creating something made entirely from wood and glue. For example the cherry sleigh bed was designed and constructed without a single screw or metal bracket. A more recent piece, a walnut cabinet, has only six screws to hold down drawer stops. On quality I will not compromise and that requires getting the design right.

Of course not all my work is a sole effort. Often I will collaborate with the customer. However, if I am not happy with the kind of work being requested, I will politely suggest another maker be found. I do not believe quality can be compromised.
